Website

Diptford CofE Primary is a thriving small school. It is now part of the Totnes Hub of Village Schools, within the Link Academy Trust. The school is a short drive from the A38 and is able to offer a range of before/after-school clubs and wrap-around care from Nursery to Year 6, so it is a great choice for your child even if you live outside of the village.

At Diptford CofE Primary School we encourage our pupils to achieve their full potential, with success being recognised and celebrated in all its forms. For all, exploring and discovering supports our children's learning and they have fun doing it. We are a real 'little family' who enjoy learning together.

Ladybirds

☎ 01548 821141

Website

Diptford's branch of the Women's Institute closed in April 2024, and the Ladybirds has replaced it.

Diptford's ladies' group meets on the second Monday of every month in the Parish Hall at 7.30pm. We are a non-denominated group who don’t sing Jerusalem and the majority do not make jam, although several do make delicious cakes! We are a very friendly bunch of ladies who laugh a lot and enjoy ourselves and like nothing more than going on outings which usually involve food or drink!

During our meetings we usually have a speaker, who can be on any number of topics, sometimes involving us hands on. We have a WhatsApp group and an e-mail group where we keep in touch with each other, often offering help with things like collecting prescriptions or even asking when the bin men are coming!

Every lady in the village and surrounding area is very welcome. Come and give it a try and make some new friends. We would love to meet you.

You can just turn up, or contact the number listed.

Membership of the Ladybirds costs £25 per year.
